Tailored Programmes
In close cooperation with the cooperating partners, the tailormade programs are developed based on stuctured needs assessment utilising Petrads tool box. Essential elements in the assessment are maturity and perspectives of the petroleum sector, institutions, roles and responsibilities, culture and a good understanding of all stakeholders.
Relevant training activities wil thereafter be designed accordingly in a contexts of long-term capacity development. Participants will be get involed to a wide variaty of pedagogical approaches and interactive tools such as simulation, role play solving complex, case studies and real life challenges from the participants institutions.
The learning takes place in an atmosphere of respect and mutual learning. Almost each challenging training day runs into social gatherings, where cultures are shared through conversations and performances.

Availability and funding
If Norwegian government funding is required, Petrad’s services and activities are only available through development cooperation programmes. In order to initiate such a programme, Norwegian authorities need to be contacted by national officials through the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) or Embassies.
